What Sunglasses Does Justin Thomas Wear in 2026? The TITE 02, Explained

Short answer: in 2026 Justin Thomas has been seen swapping his long-serving Oakleys for a pair of TITE 02 golf sunglasses — a wraparound frame from TITE Eyewear, a brand built exclusively for golf and green reading rather than general sport. His caddie has been wearing them too. I’ve been playing in a pair myself, and they’re one of the few bits of kit I’ve tried that genuinely changed what I see on the greens.
From Oakley to TITE: what changed
For years, Thomas has been an Oakley man — most associated with the Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ across various frame and lens combinations, including Oakley’s Prizm golf lens.
The difference is that Oakley is a multi-sport brand — the Prizm Golf lens is excellent, but it’s one golf option within a huge range. TITE does only one thing. Every frame and lens is tuned for reading a golf course, which is exactly why a detail-obsessed player like Thomas — very aware of his look, especially heading into his 2026 free-agency period — is an interesting early adopter.
What is TITE Eyewear?
TITE Eyewear launched in January 2026, founded by Scott MacGuffie, a long-time veteran of the eyewear industry. The whole pitch is “you don’t just see the course, you read it.” The patent-pending lens is designed to quieten visual noise and amplify the green part of the spectrum, so subtle slopes, grain and breaks stand out — the stuff that normally only reveals itself once your ball’s already rolling the wrong way. It also carries above-standard 415 UVA/UVB protection, so it’s doing the proper job of a sunglass as well.
The range runs across several frame models (TITE 01 through 05) and a few lens options — a brighter-condition lens, a flat-light contrast lens, and a photochromic lens that adapts as the light changes.
Why the TITE 02 is a proper performance golf frame
The 02 is the wraparound, performance-shaped frame in the line-up — which is why it suits tour use and why Thomas has gravitated to it over the more aviator-styled options. From wearing mine, a few things stand out:
Adjustable arms (TITE-TILT). You can genuinely dial in the fit, which matters when you’re wearing a cap and moving through a full swing.
Grippy pads in the right places. There’s a tacky pad on the top of the frame and along the arms, so the glasses stay put — and, brilliantly, sit securely on the peak of your cap without sliding off.
That hat trick is the detail I love most. If, like me, you’ve scratched or lost a pair perching them on your cap mid-round, this is the fix. It’s a small thing that tells you the brand actually plays golf.
They look the part. The frames are genuinely sharp — no small thing for Thomas, and no small thing for the rest of us either.
TITE lens vs Oakley Prizm: my honest take
I’ve used the Oakley Prizm golf lens plenty, so this is a fair head-to-head. Prizm is superb, but it can look a touch augmented — almost hyper-real, like the colour’s been turned up past true. The TITE lens, for me, is better: it enhances without tipping into that artificial look. Everything is sharper and the greens read more clearly, but it still looks like a golf course rather than a filter. For green reading specifically, that natural-but-enhanced balance is the win.
Should you get a pair?
If you read a lot of greens, play in variable light, or simply want sunglasses built for golf rather than borrowed from another sport, the TITE 02 is the most impressive golf-specific eyewear I’ve tested. They’re a premium buy, but they’re doing something the £20 pair in your bag pocket simply can’t.

In 2026 Thomas has been seen wearing the TITE 02 from TITE Eyewear, a golf-specific brand, having long been associated with Oakley.
What brand of sunglasses is JT wearing at the Masters / in 2026?
TITE Eyewear — he and his caddie were both spotted in them during the 2026 season.
Are TITE sunglasses actually good for green reading?Y
es — the lens is tuned to amplify the green spectrum so slopes and breaks stand out. In my own testing they made subtle contours noticeably easier to see.

They sit in the premium bracket — around $200–250 in the US.
