Ross Eves — PGA Professional & Golf Biomechanics Coach

Ross Eves is a PGA Professional and golf coach based at Herons' Reach Golf Resort in Blackpool, UK, specialising in golf biomechanics and strength and conditioning. He holds an MSc in Strength and Conditioning (specialising in 3D biomechanics), is TPI Fitness certified (Levels 1 and 2), and has coached for over ten years — working with players from complete beginners to tour and Walker Cup level, and consulting with the Tommy Fleetwood Academy.
Coaching background
I've spent more than a decade coaching golfers of every standard, from first-timers to tour and Walker Cup players. I came up through competitive golf myself — including mini-tour events alongside players who went on to win major championships — so I understand the game from inside the ropes as well as from the lesson tee. Alongside swing coaching I do strength and conditioning work with players, and I consult with the Tommy Fleetwood Academy. These days my focus is helping golfers get measurable, lasting improvement rather than quick fixes that fall apart on the course.
A measurement-led approach
My coaching is built on data, not guesswork — my MSc specialised in 3D biomechanics, and I coach with the same tools you'll find in elite performance environments:
• BULL 3D motion-capture for full-body biomechanics
• SAM PuttLab for putting-stroke analysis
• Foresight QUAD launch monitor for ball and club data
• AiSensor for ground-force and pressure analysis (the next generation of pressure tracking)
• TPI Fitness screening (Levels 1 & 2) to link the body to the swing I
'm also a Full Swing KIT and AiSensor ambassador. Combining a biomechanics and strength-and-conditioning background with this level of measurement means I can see why a fault is happening — not just what it looks like — and build a fix around how your body actually moves.
Why I review golf products
Every product I review on this site is one I've genuinely tested myself, on the range or on the course, and usually with my students too. I don't republish brand copy, I don't use stock images, and I won't make a claim I can't back up. If something doesn't suit a particular type of golfer, I say so. The goal is simple: honest, coach-led verdicts you can actually trust before you spend your money.
Who I help
I work with golfers across the UK and internationally, from high-handicappers trying to break 100 or 90 up to competitive amateurs and professionals — on technique, on the body behind the swing, or both. If you want a coach who'll measure, explain and prove it, that's what I do.

“I’ve been playing golf for over 30 years and had lessons over the years from a few PGA professionals, after a period away from the game and a few injuries forced me to find a new approach to improving my game. Ross’s approach to teaching is fantastic in that he’s structured my swing around my physical athletic abilities using his extensive biomechanical knowledge, which has transformed my ball striking and distances in a short time and I look forward with confidence that he’ll help build a swing that will make the game more enjoyable to play I cannot recommend him highly enough.”
